In the wake of the recent tragedy, the Pittsburg, California Police Department has identified 41-year-old local, James Maurice Ector, as a suspect in relation to the November 7 homicide. The incident took place on the 900 block of Carpino Ave, taking the life of a 42-year-old man whose identity remains undisclosed.
The Pittsburg Police Department's Facebook post assures that detectives are relentlessly pursuing the suspect.
According to a Hoodline report, whilst authorities seek information relating to the crime, witnesses believe this to, be an isolated incident among acquaintances.
Even though the suspect has been pinpointed, the weapon used at the crime scene remains undiscovered. The public is strictly instructed not to engage with Ector, but to view him as armed and a threat. The local law enforcement suggests immediate calls to 9-1-1 upon spotting Ector.
