The Walnut Creek Police Department, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking community assistance to locate the individuals responsible for two recent robbery incidents.

Two crimes occurred on November 3, in Walnut Creek's downtown area. Both involved masked and armed suspects. However, investigators have yet to connect the two incidents directly.

The first incident happened in the Newell Promenade Shopping Center parking lot. The victim was waiting for an Uber when two masked men, their races unknown, confronted them. Armed with a dark-colored handgun, one of the suspects managed to steal the victim's watch and, in the process, left them with a facial injury. The suspects quickly fled the scene, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department.

A second robbery occurred later that day in a Burger King parking lot on N. Broadway. Again, two suspects fitting a similar description accosted a victim seated in his car. This time, his wallet and jewelry were stolen, after being shown a weapon. The assailants fled, leaving the victim with minor injuries that were treatable on-site.

The Walnut Creek Police Department's Investigations Bureau has shown its commitment to public safety and is actively following leads. They have further called on the public to provide any useful information that could assist in solving these robberies, as stated in their statement.
