A tragic twist of fate unfolded on the streets of South San Francisco when a nighttime drive turned deadly. According to the South San Francisco Police Department, forty-year-old Cherise Wafer of Antioch has been arrested for a fatal car collision that claimed an unnamed victim’s life.

The calamity struck on November 21st, as police responded to an emergency call at 3:24 a.m. Authorities report that Wafer was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road on the tenth block of Airport Boulevard. The head-on collision that ensued was nothing short of catastrophic. In a grim development, detectives swiftly moved to arrest Wafer on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving the wrong way on a highway, tragically resulting in her death, after she had been discharged from a local hospital care facility.
