A middle school teacher from Yucca Valley, Joseph Anthony Borges III, 48, was recently arrested for possessing child pornography. Borges III's illegal activities were unveiled by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division detectives as a result of a CyberTip.
On November 7, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) sent a CyberTip to the Crimes Against Children Detail indicating potential child sexual abuse material. Borges III, a teacher at La Contenta Middle School, was identified as the primary suspect during the consequent investigation as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
