According to a police report, 45-year-old Jason Schreiber of Thousand Oaks was arrested early morning on December 17th in connection with the vicious assault of two juveniles that occurred on December 8th.
The initial crime scene unfolded in the seemingly quiet 500 block of Brossard Drive as responders discovered two young victims with severe head wounds. While two juveniles and an adult were quickly apprehended following the attack; Schreiber's involvement came to light only later in the ongoing investigation. Detectives executed a search warrant at his residence on W. Hillcrest Drive, discovering evidence tying him to the events of that harrowing night.
Schreiber now faces multiple charges including Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Participation in a Criminal Street Gang, and Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors, the report detailed. His bail is set at a hefty $150,000, reflecting the gravity of the accusations. The suspect found himself behind bars in Ventura County Mail Jail, with a scheduled arraignment on December 19th at 1:30 pm.
