In a grizzly discovery that's got Arlington on edge, a man was found shot to death inside his car at an apartment complex parking lot Sunday evening, officials said. The bloodshed unfolded in the 2900 block of Forest Hollow Lane, as the night shadowed any semblance of peace in that corner of the city near West Carrier Parkway and Texas 360, according to NBC DFW.
Cops rushed to the scene after the shooting was called in at about 7:20 p.m., discovering a 29-year-old man slumped over in a driver seat, bloodied by multiple gunshot wounds. The unfortunate soul was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains a mystery, as next of kin haven't yet been notified, as reported by WFAA.
As to what led to the deadly confrontation, details remain as murky as the night it occurred. "The Arlington Police Department said when officers responded to a reported shooting in the area, they found the body of a man inside a car with multiple apparent gunshot wounds", as detailed by NBC DFW.
Now, as the Arlington Police Department grapples with the silence, they're calling on the public to shatter it with tips that could lead to justice. Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Hall at 817-459-5325 or can choose to remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-8477, per WFAA.
