Festivities are slated to begin at 11 a.m. with the expectation of local politicians and various notables in attendance to mark the event. Offering insight into the day's events, Monica Smith shared with FOX 5 Atlanta, "Our event is open to the public and will include remarks from our local politicians, AUC representatives, celebrities, and nonprofit organizations - that we support, all of whom are long-standing customers." To spice up the celebration, every 30th patron will receive a complimentary adult beverage from the cafe's second-floor bar over the coming weeks.
Mr. Everything Cafe has stood as one of the top five black-owned businesses in Atlanta for over a quarter-century. It boasts an open kitchen concept, allowing for a transparent dining experience, where patrons can see their food being made, fostering familiarity and community.
