Firefighters raced to battle a blaze early Thursday at southeast Austin's Solaris Apartments, with one suffering an injury in the fray.
Flames engulfed a unit on the second floor of the complex located at 1700 Burton Drive, prompting a swift response from the Austin Fire Department.

The first responders were called in around 5:40 a.m. and managed to quickly extinguish the fire. They then proceeded to methodically check to ensure that the fire had not spread to other parts of the building, according to the official CBS Austin report.
