
The Boston Police Department has issued an urgent plea to the public in their search for 15-year-old London Tene, a Dorchester resident who vanished on Wednesday afternoon. According to a release posted on the Boston Police Department's official website, London was last spotted around 2:00 PM on Stanwood Street. Described as a white female, standing about 5’03” and weighing around 110lbs, she has long dark brown hair and was dressed in a baby blue Champion hoodie, gray leggings, and black/white Champion slides at the time she went missing.
Authorities are exploring the possibility that Tene may have traveled to New York, widening the scope of the search across state lines. The Boston Police have not provided specific reasons as to why they believe she might be in New York area, but encourage everyone to come forward with any information that might lead to her discovery. The department has stressed the urgency of finding the teenager and reuniting her with her family.
Those with any knowledge regarding London Tene’s whereabouts or her last known activities are urged to contact the Boston Police by dialing 911 or reaching out to B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275.
