Tragedy struck a South Park home in the early hours of Christmas morning, as a fire claimed the lives of two family dogs and left five people displaced. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported the incident occurred at 12:55 a.m. at 5021 S San Pedro St. According to LAFD's alert. It took firefighters a mere 14 minutes to extinguish the blaze that had engulfed a detached bungalow.
Two canines were found deceased. In addition to the loss of their pets, the family now has to quickly figure out how to rebuild their lives as they were assisted with their immediate needs, hinting at the urgent care that comes with such abrupt displacement. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
