The Plano Police Department is actively searching for a man suspected of recently breaking into the cars of bank patrons after following them from their bank. The suspect stakes out banks, trails customers, and then burglarizes their vehicles when left unattended, making off with newly acquired funds, according to the Plano Texas Police Department.
Authorities are looking to quickly apprehend the suspect, who has managed to twice successfully commit his crimes. He lays in wait, watches as bank customers line their pockets with cash and, when the moment is ripe, he decisively makes his move, breaking into their cars to claim the spoils. A silver Mazda CX-5 has been identified as the getaway vehicle, captured by surveillance cameras at the scenes of the break-ins.
Investigators described the suspect as a male with a mixed black and Hispanic background, noted for his curly hair, beard, and stocky build. In an attempt to conceal his identity, he has been wearing a medical mask.
