
Relief washed over the community as the Dallas Police Department confirmed that Josefina B. Romero, the 67-year-old Latin female reported missing, was safely located Monday. Her disappearance had triggered an alert and a call for public assistance to determine her whereabouts, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Previously reported missing after having last been seen on December 10, the 5-foot-1 Mrs. Romero was described as having brown eyes and black and grey hair, wearing black pants, a black Polo shirt with “entrust” emblazoned across it, and a black sweater with a pair of black shoes. The senior was possibly on foot in the 2400 block of Flora Street around 7:00 p.m.
The Dallas Police had urged anyone with information regarding the critical missing person to immediately reach out, emphasizing the need for community vigilance. The case number provided for reference, 219767-2023, was to help streamline information and expedite the search for Mrs. Romero.
