Shanice Redwine, Espinoza's sister, is leading the call for justice, stating, "My heart was never prepared for any of this. My brother never deserved this to happen to him. We’ll never get him back." Vincent Michael Corral, also 18, knew Espinoza and has been charged with criminally negligent homicide about the incident, according to WFAA.

She wants her brother to be remembered for his infectious smile and love for Nicki Minaj's music—a loving uncle, a diligent worker with an eye on a career in finance.
