A Christmas Day celebration in Dallas turned grim as a shooting incident claimed one life. The Dallas Police Department confirmed that they are investigating the homicide after a person was found dead from a gunshot wound. Officers were called to the scene on the 2700 block of Lenway Street around 2:30 p.m., as reported by NBC DFW.
Upon arrival, authorities encountered the victim, whose identity has yet to be released, emergency services from the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department were on site to assist, but the victim ultimately succumbed to his injuries. About the incident, police have placed one individual in custody, however, details regarding the suspect's identity remain undisclosed at this time, as per WFAA.
