
Dallas Police are on the hunt for a gunman following a fatal shooting that occurred inside a business at 2500 S. Belt Line Road. The violent incident unfolded at approximately 5:40 p.m. on December 14, leaving 31-year-old Michael Pierson dead, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Responding to a shooting call, the officers found Pierson shot upon arrival, following an argument with an unknown male suspect, which escalated tragically. After the shooting, the suspect was last seen fleeing north through the parking lot, leaving behind a scene. Pierson was rapidly transported to a local hospital, but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The case is actively under investigation, filed under case number 223676-2023 by the local authorities. Detectives are currently piecing together the events that led to the deadly confrontation. Details surrounding the argument and the identity of the suspect remain unclear as detectives work to uncover the motive and track down the perpetrator.
