
The Dallas Police are actively probing a homicide that claimed the life of a 60-year-old man in the 100 block of Polk Street. The victim, identified as Ira Lollis, was violently assaulted in the early morning hours of December 9 by parties unknown, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Responding to an emergency call at approximately 3:15 a.m., the scene where Lollis was found critically injured has turned into a flashpoint of inquiry. After being transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue, he succumbed to his injuries on December 27. The case, now a matter of urgent attention, continues to unfold under case number 218497-2023.
