A teenage boy, just 16 years old, was the victim of gunfire in Dallas last week, succumbing to his injuries two days after being shot on a residential street, as per local authorities.
The shooting occurred on December 7, at around 5:05 p.m., at the 700 block of Ft. Worth Avenue. The Dallas Police found the teenager critically wounded when they arrived in response to the call, they said. To save his life, the young man was rushed to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, he gave up the ghost on December 9. Following his death, Dallas law enforcement has since turned the case over to their Homicide Unit, now documenting it under the case number 217612-2023, according to the Dallas Police Department.
