
Tragedy struck in Dallas this past weekend as two individuals lost their lives in a harrowing three-vehicle collision, with a third party hospitalized under serious conditions and DWI charges looming overhead. The tragedy unfolded early Saturday on Walton Walker Boulevard, where the Dallas County Sheriff's Office reported to the scene at approximately 3:29 a.m. after receiving calls of a major accident, as detailed by WFAA.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a devastating scene, with two victims pronounced dead. Their identities remain undisclosed and the suspected driver of one of the vehicles was hurried to Parkland Hospital in a serious plight. Dallas officials have yet to release the names of the deceased or the hospitalized. The area of North Walton Walker Boulevard was subsequently shut down to traffic for several hours while wreckers and clean-up crews worked diligently, resulting in traffic being diverted to Northwest Highway and adding to a morning of confusion and commute delays, per The Dallas Morning News.
