A deadly shooting, described as a fallout from a "love triangle," claimed the life of one man outside a post office on San Antonio's Northeast Side. The fatal incident occurred in broad daylight Tuesday, around noon, on the 1900 block of Austin Highway.
According to information acquired by KSAT, the scenario involved a parked man being approached by another man and a woman. Tempers flared, and guns were drawn, leading to a shootout. The confrontation culminated in one man losing his life at the scene, while the shooter was taken into custody. Camelia Juarez, a San Antonio police spokeswoman, stated, "both men flashed guns and a shootout ensued."
Police are investigating the sequence of events that escalated to gunfire and have noted that self-defense might play a role in how the shooting is ultimately classified. The woman connected to the shootout is currently being questioned by the authorities.
