DeKalb County authorities are turning to the public in their hunt for a suspect linked to a string of burglaries targeting local businesses. The DeKalb County Police Department has stepped up its call for assistance after two robberies occurred within a week, reports Atlanta News First. The first instance took place on November 27, when a person entered a business on Candler Road, confronting the employees and demanding they hand over the cash.

The same individual is suspected in a subsequent robbery on December 3, also demanding money before fleeing the scene. This time, the incident occurred at a different location, a business on Wesley Chapel Road. Surveillance footage provided by the DeKalb County Police Department shows the suspect clad in all black with their face concealed, as stated by WSB-TV.

Investigators are asking anyone who might recognize the suspect or have any critical information regarding the robberies to come forward. "The person robbed two businesses in the span of a week," the DeKalb County deputies emphasized in their appeal, as mentioned by Atlanta News First

Police have disseminated the surveillance footage in hopes that it might lead to a breakthrough. Anyone with information about the robberies or the suspect is asked to call Det. Winston at 404-286-7967, police urge.
