
This morning, Boston Logan International Airport is experiencing increased fog, resulting in numerous flight delays. The intense fog rolled in early Tuesday, obscuring vision and causing a notable disruption in flight schedules. As the morning progressed, the delays continued to accumulate, with visibility significantly reduced around the airport. Commuters had to navigate a slow and cautious journey to reach the terminals.
A dense fog that was caught on video blanketing the end of Terminal A. Curbside, street lights, and stop signals appeared as mere blurs to the motorists slowly making their way forward. According to NBC Boston, the haze has resulted in 59 delays, and, only one cancellation. On the ground, an advisory remained active signaling that these conditions were not expected to lift until after 10 a.m.
Over in the Boston and Worcester areas, clouds will linger while temperatures are predicted to hover around 50 degrees. It's a chilly prelude to the midweek storm system which, as detailed by Boston 25 News, is expected to bring rain.
The forecast assures a dry and sunnier conclusion to the year for the New Year's weekend.
