The State of Texas is gearing up for an encore as folk-pop sensation Noah Kahan doubles down on Austin, Texas, with a newly added show for his much-anticipated "We'll All Be Here Forever Tour." After a distinguished performance at the 2023 Austin City Limits Music Festival, Kahan's fans clamored for more, leading to a second date being tacked on at the Moody Center. Now, the Vermont-native singer-songwriter will grace the stage not once but twice on June 14 and the added session on June 15, 2024, as reported by KXAN.
The announcement came via X, where an enthusiastic Moody Center declared the added show "due to overwhelming demand." It seems that Kahan's recent collaborations have struck a chord with audiences; the artist has worked with big names including Post Malone, Hozier, and Kacey Musgraves. This networking prowess combined with his recent Grammy nod for “Best New Artist” only fuels the fire of his rapidly growing popularity, My San Antonio reports.

Tickets for the new Austin gig are poised to go on sale bright and early at 10 a.m. on Friday, sparking what's expected to be a swift sell-out. Kahan's fans, who've followed his trajectory since the viral success of his breakthrough album "Stick Season" released in October 2022, are surely marking calendars.
Described as a phenomenon in the global folk music scene, Kahan's sound has garnered comparisons to folk giants like The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons—influences the singer himself tips his hat to. According to Paste Magazine, both are artists Kahan says have been key influences in his career. Elsewhere in Texas, the Vermont native will also strut his stuff at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on June 11 and take to the stage at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston on June 13.
With the Grammy Awards on the horizon, scheduled for February 4, 2024, excitement around Kahan's tour is peppering the air as his fan base eagerly waits to see if this best new artist contender will bring home the gold. Regardless of the outcome, it seems clear that this troubadour's tune has struck a resounding chord with music lovers, particularly in the heart of Texas.
