KXAN reported that the emergency responders pronounced the adult victim dead at the scene at approximately 11:23 a.m. The specific circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear, but the aftermath halted traffic flow, with EMS advising drivers to seek alternative routes due to expected delays.
