
Early this morning, flames engulfed a multi-family residence on Wooddale Street, displacing five residents just a day after Christmas. According to a post by Boston Fire Department, the fire broke out at 31 Wooddale St. and was swiftly addressed as first responders arrived on the scene to confront the blaze.

The department reported, "Companies arrived to fire showing at 31 Wooddale St in Mattapan." Boston firefighters managed to knock down the fire and promptly initiated a search for any additional fire spread within the structure. All five residents were reported safe, albeit without a home.
The Boston Fire Department has not yet determined the cause of the blaze, and investigations are currently underway. The names of the displaced individuals have not yet been released, and the damage to the property is still being assessed.
