Earlier, police in Fremont, California, are calling on the community to help track down the family of an elderly man found confused and alone. The individual, 80-year-old Sing Ing, was discovered near Lake Elizabeth sporting a blue jacket and sweater. He appeared disoriented and was unable to communicate in English, leaving him unable to convey his home address or details that could assist authorities in getting him back to his loved ones.
Reports by Hoodline indicate that the Fremont Police Department has been seeking the public's assistance following Ing's unsettling discovery, focusing on those who might recognize him to come forward.
In an effort to hasten the reunion, the Fremont Police put out a simple message: "FOUND ELDER: Sing Ing, 80-year-old Asian male, located on foot near Lake Elizabeth, wearing a blue jacket & sweater. He was unaware of his whereabouts & could not remember his address. He does not speak English," and reminded anyone with knowledge about Mr. Ing to contact them at 510-790-6800 with option 3.
