He is accused of engaging police in a potentially deadly exchange, which leaves him charged with three counts of aggravated assault against a public servant following a March incident. The altercation that could earn LaGrone a life sentence occurred earlier this year, with the possibility of a 25-year sentence on the table through a plea deal. The wedding celebrations, including extravagant elements like a $12,500 crystal butterfly house, are now eclipsed by the severity of his legal situation, as per Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
In March, officers arriving at a disturbance call in Westworth Village were allegedly met with gunfire from LaGrone, leading to the charges. The indictment from Tarrant County specifies that LaGrone "did intentionally and knowingly threaten imminent bodily injury" to the officers, using a firearm as a deadly weapon, per The Dallas Morning News.
