My’keion Yates, 21, has been identified by the Griffin Police Department as the prime suspect in this murder case and according to information provided by the department, he was last seen fleeing the scene in a black 2012 Nissan Altima with the Georgia tag SEW9844. Subsequently, a statewide alert has been issued for Yates, who is now wanted for malice murder, among other charges. 11Alive reported that authorities are urging the public to consider Yates armed and dangerous and to contact law enforcement immediately if spotted.
