During the December 2021 traffic stop near Del Rio, Jesus Gaytan III, then 23, spilled the sinister details of a sexual relationship with a minor; their unlawful exchanges immortalized on his cell phone with video capturing their illicit activities, his freedom snatched up by vigilant Texas Department of Public Safety troopers who detected more than just a traffic infraction, and now, nearly two years after his guilt was cemented with a plea on March 14, 2022, Gaytan faces the cold reality of federal bars.
