Haltom City cops are on the lookout for three men connected to a hit-and-run fiasco in a local watering hole's parking lot. The trio, captured on surveillance cameras, is involved in a December 8th incident wherein their pickup truck allegedly reversed into another parked car at the Rocky's Live, causing considerable carnage before hightailing it out of there, according to the Haltom City Police Department.
The rough-cut video footage—caught on tape just outside the popular spot located at 4250 Broadway Ave.—isn't top-notch but it's enough for the boys in blue to want to have a chat with these allegedly reckless drivers. After striking the unsuspecting vehicle, the pickup's operator hesitated but failed to stick around long enough to, sadly, do the right thing.
According to the local authorities, the law requires the exchange of information following such collisions but this particular driver chose to bolt without so much as leaving a note. The collision left the other car with damage that was far from superficial.
Investigators are eager to piece together the events of that night and are asking anyone who recognizes the men to come forward. Detective Herring, who's on the case, has offered up his email ([email protected]) for tips that could lead to a resolution, as per the Haltom City Police Department.
