
Law enforcement authorities have mounted an intensive manhunt near Blue Hills Reservation following a harrowing armed carjacking in Milton, which led to a police chase and subsequent search for three individuals. The ordeal began with a carjacking on Green Street in Milton on Tuesday night, according to Canton Police. The suspects reportedly commandeered a vehicle at gunpoint, per Boston 25 News.
On Wednesday, the co-opted vehicle was located on Brush Hill Road after the suspects managed, to elude the Randolph Police during a high-stakes chase. Two individuals have been apprehended in connection to the carjacking, as state police confirmed, with one suspect managing to escape, their identity still unknown. Descriptions of the at-large suspect were not made available to the public at the time of reporting.
Near the intersection of Green Street and Route 138, just a stone's throw from Blue Hills Ski Area, law enforcement officials, including state troopers with K9 units, scoured the area. A heavy police presence was reported along Route 138, corroborated by NBC Boston. Authorities remained reticent, providing limited information about the suspects or the details of Tuesday night's incident.
