Lake Forest was scorched by panic when flames erupted in the 21000 block of Bellcroft Drive, as per reports received by the Emergency Command Center after noon yesterday. The firefighters of Engine 19, tasked with the safety of Lake Forest, found the fire fiercely consuming a garage and battled the blaze within 20 minutes, preventing it from claiming the residence.
They searched the smoke-stained rooms extensively and found no signs of human life, but a dog’s presence was marked by tragedy, having succumbed to the fire, according to Orange County Fire Authority's X update.

Fire investigators combed the site to search for the root of the fire, and a cause has not been determined yet.
