Angelenos can look forward to a sunny holiday with temperatures hovering in the mid-60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Today's forecast for Los Angeles includes sunny skies with a high near 65 degrees. East winds will shift southsouthwest in the afternoon, blowing at 5 to 10 mph. As night descends, the city will see partly cloudy conditions with a low of around 51.
"TonightPartly cloudy, with a low around 51 degrees. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight," states the forecast from National Weather Service. Sunday will mimic today's conditions, sunny with a high near 65 degrees, and a south-southeast wind of 5 to 10 mph turning west-southwest in the afternoon.
The weather service anticipates another sunny day with a high near 66, and a calm north-northeast wind will eventually become a gentle southwest breeze in the afternoon.
The rest of the week continues to provide stable weather for post-holiday activities. "Mostly sunny, with a high near 68 degrees," said the National Weather Service regarding Tuesday's weather. Although a slight chance of rain creeps into the forecast Wednesday night after 10:00 pm and again on Friday, it appears that Los Angeles will mostly stay dry.
For those concerned with the end-of-the-week conditions, the slight rain chances should not cause alarm. Thursday remains mostly sunny, with lows in the high 40s and high temperatures remaining consistent at around 66 degrees. As the week closes, Friday echoes the slight possibility for rain, but still features partly sunny skies and a high near 67.
