
Investigators from the Lynn Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police are piecing together the details of a late-night shooting that erupted just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Camden Street, near the AL Prime gas station off Western Avenue. According to WCVB, the scene was marked by around three dozen evidence markers, though the police have yet to disclose many details.
The investigation has since been taken over by the Essex County District Attorney's Office. This incident followed closely on the heels of another shooting that occurred roughly 24 hours prior near a Pizza Hut in Lynn, which left three people seriously injured. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to this shooting.
In another report by NBC10 Boston, authorities were called to the A.L. Prime Energy gas station late Wednesday night. The Essex County District Attorney's Office is again taking the reins on this case, as they did with the previous shooting.
The district attorney's office has maintained a close hold on information., as NBC10 Boston reports they have not yet received a response regarding the shootings.
