
A family dispute turned deadly in DeKalb County when a man allegedly shot and killed a relative on Saturday, according to local authorities. The DeKalb County Police Department has arrested an individual in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred in a quiet Ellenwood neighborhood.
The incident took place in the 4440 block of Parmalee Path around 2 p.m., where officers discovered a man in his 40s with a fatal gunshot wound. A spokesperson for the police department stated, "This may have escalated from a dispute and the victim and suspect knew each other," in an event that has shocked the community.
