A man has been arrested following the death of a woman at a Lunenburg trailer park. According to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, the police found the woman after responding to a call around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at a complex located on Massachusetts Avenue. Boston 25 News reports that the victim was urgently transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The suspect, whose identity remains shielded by ongoing investigations, was taken into custody and is staring down charges related to the death. He is expected to have his day in court for an arraignment at the Fitchburg District Court on Wednesday morning.
The District Attorney's Office initially dubbed the incident an isolated case, reassuring the public there was no further danger. This message was echoed in a statement reported by NBC Boston, which also highlighted the lack of detailed information from prosecutors regarding the individuals involved and the suspect's charges.
