
A man lost his life in a jaywalking incident as he attempted to cross a busy San Antonio highway on Saturday evening. According to both FOX San Antonio and Express News, the unidentified man was struck by a black 2017 Chevrolet Suburban while crossing Northwest Loop 410, near North Star Mall around 9:45 p.m.
The area where the incident took place had no designated crosswalks, making it illegal and dangerous to traverse, the San Antonio Police Department said that the pedestrian met his fate while walking northbound across the main lanes, this is an area clearly marked as prohibited for pedestrian access.
