
A man was hospitalized following a stabbing at a Minneapolis homeless encampment, according to authorities. The incident which unfolded Sunday afternoon involved an altercation between two men that suddenly escalated, a report by KSTP explained. The confrontation led one man to reportedly stab the other inside a tent near the railroad tracks on the 3300 block of Hiawatha Avenue.
Responding to the event at around 3:30 p.m., police discovered a man in his 20s suffering from a stab wound considered to be non-life-threatening. Emergency services quickly transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention. Investigators are now trying to thoroughly piece together the incident, which appears to have been sparked by a heated exchange gone awry — yet no arrests have been made thus far in the case.
