A Minneapolis man stands accused of the fatal shooting of his girlfriend amidst a heated clash over cheating allegations. Hennepin County prosecutors have charged Johnny Leroy Brown, 50, with second-degree murder and related offenses, reported by FOX 9.
On December 17th, in the Linden Hills neighborhood, an argument between Brown and 43-year-old Kesha Moore turned deadly, with Brown now facing allegations of gunning her down. Despite claiming the firearm discharged accidentally during a scuffle in which Moore reportedly wielded the gun, prosecutors cast doubt upon Brown's recounting of events. After the shooting, Brown purportedly called 911 and alerted authorities about the shooting, but the details of his tale are clouded, according to FOX 9.
When police arrived at the Sheridan Avenue South apartment, officials had to make entry forcefully, finding Moore with a life-ending gunshot wound. Investigators found a single 9mm casing at the scene. Moore was a registered owner of a Luger ECS9, a 9 mm gun, but officers could not find it, as stated in CBS News Minnesota.
