
Tragedy has struck a small business in Farmington, Maine, where a mother and daughter were found dead at a dog kennel. The deceased, identified as 76-year-old Jean Robinson and her daughter, 53-year-old Allison Cumming, were discovered inside Pawsitive Dog Kennel on Red Schoolhouse Road shortly before 11 a.m, Wednesday, December 27, as reported by WABI TV.
The victims, who lived in a separate residence on the kennel's property, were pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was carried out the following day, December 28, by the state's medical examiner in Augusta, however, the cause and manner of death were not disclosed, according to NBC Boston. Maine State Police have taken the lead on the investigation, but as of now have assured the public that there is no imminent threat posed by this incident.
The grim discovery was reported to authorities around 10:45 a.m on Wednesday, confirming the timeline of events. Law enforcement officials and first responders descended upon the scene at the Pawsitive Dog Kennel, a known establishment on Schoolhouse Road, where the bodies were found.
