A New Hampshire teen's need for speed landed him in serious trouble after he was caught going nearly double the speed limit on I-93. Jacob Riley Hebert, 19, of Laconia, NH, was arrested Wednesday night after New Hampshire State Police clocked his vehicle zooming down the southbound lanes at a jaw-dropping 124 mph in a 65 mph zone, according to NBC Boston.

The high-speed chase came to an abrupt end just before midnight, when a trooper managed to pull Hebert over. He is now facing a slew of charges, including aggravated driving under the influence, reckless operation, transporting alcoholic beverages by a minor, and reckless conduct. The incident also endangered a minor under the age of 16, who was among the three passengers in the car. Concord Police further revealed that Hebert was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child, as reported by NBC Boston.

In addition to Hebert's arrest, two of the passengers found in the vehicle were also taken into custody. Police state they were arrested for unlawful possession and intoxication as well as open container violations. These individuals are expected to appear before the Concord District Court come January. Following the arrest, Hebert and the two passengers were released on bail, WGME reports.
