A horrific three-vehicle crash on US 183 rattled the southeast Austin community in the early hours of the morning, sending one individual to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident took place near East Riverside Drive around 2:27 a.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS,

It was reported that the patient, after being liberated from their crumpled vehicle by the efforts of brave firefighters, was transported with potentially life-threatening injuries to St. David's South Austin Medical Center for urgent care, in a statement obtained by CBS Austin.
