
Today's weather in Greater San Antonio started with patchy fog but is expected to clear by mid-morning, leading to partly sunny conditions and a high of roughly 72 degrees, the National Weather Service reports. Rain chances increase slightly tonight to 20 percent after 3 am, with fog likely to return post-midnight.
Temperatures were a chilly 50 degrees this morning, with limited visibility of 7 miles due to dense humidity at 94 percent. As expected the humidity came back overnight which is helping fuel some patchy fog, a KSAT weather update stated. The dew point was a cool 49 degrees, completing the picture of a humid morning.
Thursday morning will have to start with similar fog before 10 am, but it’ll become mostly cloudy later with a chance of rain increasing to 30 percent in the afternoon. With a high near 70, this blend of cool air and rain is typical of December. By evening, chances of rainfall jump to 40 percent.
Rain likelihood goes up to 50 percent on Friday, tapering off to a 20 percent chance by nightfall, as per the National Weather Service. A partly sunny Christmas Day awaits with 20 percent odds for rain, and lows for Monday night forecasted around 45 degrees.
The weekend, offers a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for Saturday afternoon, even as the odds persist into the night. Sunday morning shows a reduced 20 percent chance of rain, giving way to a pleasant high of about 75 degrees.
