The San Antonio Police Department, in conjunction with Crime Stoppers, has issued an appeal to the public for information leading to the arrest of 32-year-old Rodolfo “Rudy” Hernandez, who is sought in connection with a fatal shooting that took place last month behind a Northwest Side apartment complex, as reported by KSAT.
Hernandez is accused of killing Jagger Munoz, 19, on November 21, a young man whose life was cut short. His body was discovered in the 6100 block of Whitby Road. Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a disturbance before the deadly gunfire erupted, and Munoz's body was found around 1 p.m., according to police. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that lead to Hernandez's apprehension; he is described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with brown eyes and brown hair, and weighing approximately 165 pounds.
Further details disclosed by KSAT reveal that the incident appears to have involved an altercation inside a vehicle owned by, or associated with, the victim and the suspect, during which the victim was shot and subsequently fell out of the car. As of the latest updates, no arrests have been made in the case.
Members of the community with information concerning Hernandez's whereabouts are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP or send a text message that reads "Tip 127 plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637), and those who prefer a digital approach can use the P3 Tips app. Tipsters can choose to remain anonymous and still be eligible for the monetary reward should their information lead to an arrest.
