The San Pablo Police Department is in the midst of a search for two women, a mother and daughter, who vanished in early September after a family dispute took them to Southern California. The details of their disappearance were shared in a public post by the San Pablo Police, beseeching the community for any leads, per the San Pablo Police Department.

Tho Ngoc Ly, 40, and her 74-year-old mother, Que Thi Tran, originally went missing from their home in the 1900 block of Sutter Avenue. Detectives believe, that after the pair hit the road, they were unable to confirm their safety or establish contact with the family reported by the SPPD. Ly is around 5 feet tall, weighs about 115 pounds, and has black hair with brown eyes. Similar in stature and appearance, Tran is also 5 feet tall, weighing slightly more at 120 pounds, and shares her daughter's black hair and brown eyes.

The last known track of the duo put them somewhere in the Southern California region, presumably after tensions flared within familial bonds. Police have hit a wall as their investigations proceed, and the lack of new information since early autumn leaves both authorities and the community on edge.

Authorities urge anyone who might have information about the missing women to step forward. The San Pablo Police Department's Investigations Division can be contacted at 510-215-3150. "Anyone with information on their whereabouts, or how to establish contact with Ly and/or Tran, is encouraged to call," as per the San Pablo Police Department.
