
On Thursday morning, a blaze tore through a condominium complex in Saratoga, prompting a two-alarm fire response that quickly escalated to a third alarm before being contained. According to the Santa Clara County Fire Department's X post, the fire was reported at approximately 11:58 a.m. in the area of Stoneridge Drive, where firefighters arrived to find multiple units engulfed in flames.

Efforts to battle the fire intensified, calling in additional apparatus from the San Jose Fire Department. However, the third alarm resource was later canceled while still in staging. An update from the fire department noted that seven residents were displaced due to the fire. They will receive aid from the Red Cross of Northern California. There was one minor injury reported, sustained by a firefighter, and the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
No residents were in the condos when the fire broke out, ensuring no civilian injuries were reported. The post from the fire department expressed gratitude towards the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and the Santa Clara County EMS for their assistance during the incident. Firefighters continued an extensive overhaul and investigation effort on the scene well into the day to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
