Earlier today, a late-night encounter on San Antonio's South Side left one man hospitalized after a security guard shot him in both arms. The incident unfolded at the intersection of Sunbend Falls and Sunview Bay, near South Zarzamora Street, when a 22-year-old man was approached by a neighborhood security guard while sitting in his car.
According to a Fox San Antonio report, the confrontation took place around 1:00 a.m. and escalated when the man, allegedly feeling scared, attempted to drive away, bumping the security guard in the process. In response, the security guard, feeling her life was in danger, opened fire on the vehicle. She shot once through the windshield and once through the driver's side door, striking the man in each arm.
