The Kyle Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 74-year-old man, with local authorities in Texas growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Leonard Diggs, who suffers from a diagnosed cognitive impairment, was last spotted on Thursday at around 5 p.m., according to KXAN.
Diggs is recognized as a Black man, standing 5'07" tall, weighing 177 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Last seen, he donned a gray jacket with yellow stripes, over a green shirt, along with black jeans, and black and brown shoes along the 5600 block of Kyle Parkway in Kyle, Texas, as reported by CBS Austin.
Officials have stated that the absence of Diggs presents a credible threat to his health and safety. In an attempt to track down the senior citizen, the Texas Department of Public Safety has now thrown its full weight behind the search, circulating information to the public through a Silver Alert. The man in question was reportedly driving a red, 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe bearing Texas license plate 2PYKV, as stated by CBS Austin.
