A grim scene unfolded on the 400 block of University Avenue as 30-year-old Alfonzo Armstead was gunned down Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office. The St. Paul Police Department, who responded to the reported homicide, has confirmed an individual has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
The suspect, identified as 21-year-old E’Shaun Marquise Funches, was booked into the Ramsey County jail on suspicion of murder.
