A routine disturbance call spiraled into an arrest after deputies responded to a scene in the 3200 block of FM 1960 Road West on December 13, 2023. The commotion, deemed a mere nuisance at first, played out to be the downfall of Tene Gentry – a woman wanted on a felony assault warrant – authorities reported.
Constable Mark Herman's deputies quickly ascertained the identity of the woman involved in the disorderly conduct as Tene Gentry, further investigations confirmed the existence of an outstanding felony warrant against her name, and the nature of the assault for which she was wanted remains undisclosed. In a statement relayed by Constable Mark Herman's Office, it was noted, "Tene Gentry was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant."
Gentry's run-in with the law culminated in a set bond of $7,500.00, mandated by the 482nd District Court — putting a price on her temporary freedom until legal proceedings could commence. Gentry now awaits further judgment, the steely confines of a cell replacing the loud drama of that fateful disturbance.
The extent of the assault that led to the issuance of the felony warrant for Gentry has not been disclosed,
