Three men allegedly made off with a high-tech heist after swiping desktop computers from a Walmart, but their freedom was short-lived thanks to quick-acting constables. On Sunday, December 17, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office got the call to swing by the Walmart on Kuykendahl Road for a reported theft. Store employees claimed that the trio pulled a fast one by lifting three CPU computers before hightailing it out of there in their getaway car.
The deputies were not about to let the suspects simply drive off into the sunset. They managed to quickly locate the vehicle and retrieve the stolen goods, each tagged at a cool $700. The trio, identified as Triston Manzel, Jack Liam Barry, and Benjamin Engle, were then securely taken into custody.
According to Constable Mark Herman's Facebook Post, the suspects have been "arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft."
